Scope: Kelvin Zuo has worked previously as a project QS for the main contractor (China Hawkins Construction, i.e. CHC, a joint venture of Hawkins and China Construction NZ Lt d) involved in various aspects of commercial and contract management of the Park Hyatt Auckland project from the tendering stage ( May 2016) until the practical completion of a large part of the hotel (Dec 2019).

Overview

The Park Hyatt Auckland is located (101-135 Halsey Street, Auckland) on the previous Team New Zealand base on Halsey St in Auckland Waterfront, looking out on the Viaduct Harbour and Te Wero Bridge.

The open space (including hotel promenade & madden plaza) is situated at 141-177 Halsey Street, Auckland.

Park Hyatt Auckland is perfectly located on the water’s edge and offer expansive views across Wynyard Quarter’s Lighter Basin and out to the Waitematā Harbour.

The 5-star Park Hyatt consists of 195 guest rooms over seven floors above a single level basement. With a total floor area of approximately 30,000 square meters, the hotel includes a ball room, multifunction rooms, business centres, entertainment facilities including a rooftop restaurant, a full fitness gym/health centre, covered outdoor 25m pool and a day spa.
